In this context, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia pointed to the delivery of the preliminary arrangements document, which includes the contribution of each country, when it announced the early arrangements for Hajj the following year, in 1445 AH / 2024 AD.
Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, the Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, said in a statement yesterday evening that the new timetable is a significant change that will encourage early preparation. He urged nations to get ready for Hajj next year so that outstanding services be provided that are befitting of Rahman's guests.
The Saudi minister continued, "12 Dhu al-Hijjah, corresponding to June 30, 2023, is the date of handing over the document, and Rabi' al-Awwal 1, 1445, corresponding to September 16, 2023, is the date of starting preparatory meetings, opening the electronic path for data entry, announcing the list of licensed companies, as well as contracting with the authority." Service packages are made available to pilgrims by the General Authority of Civil Aviation and the activation of the financial portfolio in the electronic track on 20 Rabi' al-Akhar 1445, which corresponds to November 4, 2023. He continued: "26 Jumada al-Akhirah 1445, corresponding to January 8, 2024, an exhibition and conference for Hajj and Umrah services will be launched, which will serve as an integrated exhibition for all available services that will be provided to pilgrims," indicating that contracts in housing and feelings will be completed on Shaaban 15 1445, corresponding to February 25, 2024. It was emphasized by Al-Rabiah that "the country that ends its contracts early will have priority in choosing the appropriate places for it in the holy sites, to ensure early preparations from everyone, so that we can provide a distinguished and better service for the guests of Rahman."
