According to Apple's website, the updated security patch is "recommended for all users" and is for iOS 16.5.1-running iPhones, iPads, and Macs.

The solutions are intended to address zero-day flaws, which are operating system flaws that are used as soon as they are identified.
How to set up the most recent update
