Riyadh is gearing up to host the eagerly anticipated “GREAT FUTURES” trade exhibition on May 14 and 15, jointly organized by the governments of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom.

Set against the backdrop of Riyadh’s bustling King Abdullah Financial District, this two-day extravaganza promises to be a celebration of business, tourism, and cultural exchange, with approximately 750 representatives expected to attend.

The British delegation will be led by none other than British Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden, with a formidable 350-strong contingent. Their mission is to showcase the pinnacle of British innovation and excellence across various sectors. This flagship event marks the beginning of a year-long campaign to highlight UK expertise in sectors crucial to Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 agenda.

With a focus on forging robust Saudi-British partnerships across the government and private sectors, the trade expo is poised to catalyze economic diversification, bolster productivity, and enhance competitiveness in Saudi Arabia. The British delegation comprises over 350 government officials and industry leaders, symbolizing a concerted effort to fortify economic ties and stimulate bilateral trade and investment.

Dowden lauds the initiative as a pivotal opportunity to cultivate enduring partnerships between the UK’s foremost innovators and their Saudi counterparts in both business and government spheres. Emphasizing the UK's wealth of expertise spanning emerging technologies, academia, and beyond, he underscores the mutual benefits of collaboration aligned with Vision 2030 objectives.

Echoing Dowden’s sentiment, Saudi Minister of Commerce Dr. Majed Al-Qasabi expresses pride in hosting this landmark event, which promises to converge leading minds from diverse sectors of both nations. Anticipating fruitful collaborations in innovation, technology, and cultural exchange, he underscores the significance of aligning efforts with Vision 2030 aspirations.

This initiative stands as a beacon of innovation on the global stage, spotlighting the ingenuity of top British companies and signaling a new chapter in bilateral cooperation. As participants eagerly anticipate the unveiling of groundbreaking partnerships and transformative initiatives, the “GREAT FUTURES” expo emerges as a pivotal milestone in the ongoing narrative of Saudi-British collaboration.
