Saudi E-Visa for FIFA Club World Cup Fans
Saudi Arabia has launched an innovative e-visa initiative tailored for spectators heading to the FIFA Club World Cup. Developed in partnership between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Sports, this electronic visa is specifically designed for individuals holding tickets to the significant sports event set to take place in Jeddah later this month.
Simplified Travel for Football Enthusiasts
Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports, has introduced an e-visa program for attendees of the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup in the Kingdom. This initiative aims to simplify travel procedures for football fans, enhance their experience, and foster an exciting atmosphere during the tournament.
Accessible E-Visa Application Process
A dedicated section on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website now allows ticket holders to apply for an electronic visa, streamlining the entry process into the Kingdom. This move reflects Saudi Arabia's commitment to ensuring a smooth experience for international visitors attending the prestigious sporting event.
Transition to the New FIFA Club World Cup Format
The forthcoming event is scheduled to be held in Jeddah at King Abdullah Sports City and Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium from December 12th to 22nd. With preparations to switch to a 32-team version every four years beginning in June 2025, this edition will be the last FIFA Club World Cup in its present yearly format.
Exciting Lineup of Teams
Featuring prominent football clubs, including Manchester City, Flamengo, Al-Ittihad, Al Ahly, Auckland City, Club León, and Urawa Red Diamonds, the tournament promises thrilling matches and intense competition. The opening game will see Al Ittihad face off against Auckland City, the champion of Oceania, in a seven-team contest.
