The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior made a statement stressing that it does not tolerate abuse and will deal harshly with anyone who begs to harm the relationship between the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to the statement, "Regarding what was circulated on some social media sites by a tweeter who insulted one of the symbols of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the ministry confirms that the incident has been referred to the competent authority for the concerned authorities to take all necessary legal measures against him."
The case of Hamed Buyabis began when he posted a tweet on his account on Twitter insulting the Saudi Minister of Interior, Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef Al Saud, and one of its leaders, which was not the first of its kind for Tweeter Hamid Buyabes, as he was known. In addition to accusing Saudi customs officers of smuggling Kuwaiti food across common borders, security authorities in Kuwait arrested and charged Buyabis
