Abu Dhabi BAPS Hindu Mandir launches a new pre-registration process

The Abu Dhabi BAPS Hindu Mandir has recently implemented a revamped pre-registration system, aiming to enhance the visit experience for the escalating number of attendees frequenting the Middle East’s inaugural traditional stone temple.

A spokesperson from the temple emphasized that this novel booking procedure seeks to foster orderliness and enjoyment among visitors while also addressing the challenge of managing the burgeoning foot traffic.

The advent of the extended Eid Al Fitr holidays, coupled with school vacations extending until April 14 and various Hindu festivals occurring this week, has led to a surge in temple visitors. Notably, on Tuesday, a multitude of devotees thronged to the temple to commemorate the two New Year festivals of Ugadi and Gudi Padwa, predominantly celebrated in southern and western Indian states.

Ever since its public inauguration, the mandir has been inundated with a steady influx of visitors, with families increasingly visiting during school breaks. With significant festivals such as Baisakhi, Vishu, Tamil New Year, Bihu, Ramnavami, and Hanuman Jayanti lined up over the next fortnight, the temple administration has proactively revamped its pre-registration system to streamline the process.

The new system enables visitors to conveniently select their preferred date and time slot, thereby mitigating wait times. Operating from Tuesdays through Sundays (9 a.m. to 8 p.m.), the temple observes closure on Mondays.

Expressing gratitude for the overwhelming response received since its inception, a temple spokesperson conveyed heartfelt appreciation for the immense love and devotion demonstrated by hundreds of thousands of visitors. The spokesperson further highlighted the consistent growth in daily footfalls, particularly witnessing astronomical numbers on weekends and special occasions.

For additional details and registration, interested individuals are encouraged to visit the temple's official website at BAPS Hindu Mandir.
