Jeddah Airports introduces "Journey 45" campaign to facilitate Hajj pilgrimage

asmaa - | Arab News

Jeddah Airports has launched a comprehensive campaign called "Journey 45" aimed at educating departing Hajj pilgrims about the procedures for shipping luggage and Zamzam containers.

Jeddah Airport's 'Journey 45' Campaign

This initiative includes detailed instructions through disclosure forms and documents, helping pilgrims understand what items can and cannot be shipped.

The main goal of the "Journey 45" campaign is to inform the public about which goods and materials can be shipped and which cannot. This will ensure that the departure process for Hajj pilgrims is more streamlined and efficient. The campaign collaborates with approximately fifty governmental and operational agencies to distribute crucial instructions and recommendations.

The campaign disseminates information through various channels, including media outlets, social media platforms, and outdoor advertisements. Additionally, there are screen displays at King Abdulaziz International Airport to ensure that the information reaches all departing pilgrims. This multi-faceted approach ensures that the important guidelines are accessible and understandable to everyone.

Authorities have already sent around two million short text messages to pilgrims, beginning on the third day of Eid al-Adha. These messages provide critical information about the departure process and are part of the larger effort to ensure that all pilgrims are well-informed. The messages are translated into five languages—Arabic, English, Chinese, French, and Urdu—to reach the widest possible audience.

Duration and Impact

Commencing on June 19, the "Journey 45" campaign is scheduled to run for around one month. The campaign will last for a long time, giving the pilgrims plenty of time to hear and understand the message, which will let them leave King Abdulaziz International Airport more easily.

Through this initiative, Jeddah Airports aims to provide a seamless and stress-free departure experience for Hajj pilgrims. By clearly communicating the rules and guidelines, the campaign helps to prevent any last-minute complications or misunderstandings, ensuring that pilgrims can leave the Kingdom with ease and peace of mind.

An coordinated effort to improve the travel experience of Hajj pilgrims is the "Journey 45" program of Jeddah Airports. By contacting and coordinating with different agencies and keeping the pilgrims informed about the departure procedures, the campaign aims to make their travel as easy and efficient as possible.

Jeddah Airports' "Journey 45" campaign showcases their dedication to offering comprehensive service to Hajj pilgrims all the way through their journey. The advertisement highlights accessibility and diversity by utilizing technical tools such as mobile messaging and many languages for communication.

In addition to standardizing procedures, this effort stresses the significance of following rules to ensure a smooth and secure exit. To ensure that all Hajj participants have a great and unforgettable experience, the campaign works to maintain the highest levels of service and assistance when pilgrims begin their spiritual journey.
