Saudi Arabia announces e-visa expansion to six more countries

A one-year, multiple-entry e-visa is now available to visitors from 63 countries, according to an expansion of the Saudi Arabian electronic visa program by the Ministry of Tourism. This brings the total number of countries eligible for the program to 63; visitors from six additional countries now have access to this benefit.

Saudi Arabia Expands the E-Visa Program to Six New Countries

This initiative permits tourists to explore the Kingdom for up to 90 days and engage in various activities, including tourism, Umrah, business trips, and visiting friends and family, with a straightforward online application process.

Six New Countries Added

The following countries have been added to the list of eligible nations:

  • Türkiye (Turkey)
  • Thailand
  • Mauritius
  • Seychelles
  • Panama
  • Saint Kitts and Nevis

E-Visa Guidelines and Limitations

Travelers seeking e-visas to Saudi Arabia should be aware of the following guidelines and limitations:

  1. No Employment or Haj Season Umrah: E-visa holders are not permitted to work for wages or participate in Umrah during the Haj season.

  2. Adherence to Stay Duration: Visitors must leave the Kingdom before the specified duration of their stay to avoid penalties.

  3. Shorter Stay for Multiple-Entry Visas: Multiple-entry visas have a shorter duration for each stay.

  4. Visa Renewal: Visa renewal is only possible after the current visa has expired.
